Answer
My officials are required to work in a range of environments, including offices, depots, stores, workshops, construction sites, and on the public highway. Lamp posts however are not considered to be places of work.
Work on lamp posts is generally regarded and treated as site works on the public highway, and is carried out under a range of health and safety regulations and procedures relevant to the specific operation. These include compliance with the necessary signing and guarding of the works to ensure safety of workers and road users.
