Answer
Conviction data is recorded for generic offences, such as, for example, causing death by dangerous driving or causing death by driving carelessly when unfit. Datasets held by my Department currently do not contain information on the location and circumstances in which offences were committed. Therefore, it is not currently possible to identify from the data whether a conviction associated with a road traffic collision relates to one involving the death of a cyclist.
