Answer
Senior officials from my Department met in August with the Health and Social Care Board and the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority to consider the 22 recommendations made by the review. It was agreed that they would most effectively be delivered by the delegation of individual recommendations to each responsible organisation.
My Department will monitor the overall implementation of the recommendations, with each organisation required to submit an interim progress report by the end of October. It is intended that all the recommendations will be fully implemented by the end of this year.
