Answer

The aim of the Sustainable Utilisation of Poultry Litter (SUPL) Scheme was to help resolve a significant local environmental and economic issue, and to help Northern Ireland comply with EU nitrates targets to positively impact the poultry sector and the wider Northern Ireland economy.

The total amount of loans for projects under the Sustainable Utilisation of Poultry Litter Scheme was £17.8m.

To date £1.2m has been repaid.
