Answer
The primary role of the Public Health Agency’s Contact Tracing Service is to provide appropriate public health advice to confirmed cases of COVID-19 and to their identified close contacts.
The Department of Health is not responsible for monitoring compliance with self-isolation guidance in relation to COVID-19.
The Executive Office has established a COVID Taskforce responsible for taking forward a number of work streams including one related to adherence and compliance, protecting the public, strategic communications and recovery.
