Answer
From the outset of this pandemic I have been in close contact with stakeholders and delivery partners, and my Department has remained engaged throughout the development of the Economic Recovery Action Plan.
Economic recovery is one of the four pillars of work being taken forward by the Executives Covid-19 Task Force (“ECT”). As part of this work, departments and sectors will be asked to examine the steps needed to start the recovery process which will, in turn, inform the overall “Building Forward” recovery approach for the Executive.
My Economic Recovery Action Plan provides a comprehensive contribution to this process and the wider Executive framework for recovery. The plan is intended to start a wider and more detailed conversation regarding our recovery journey.
This is a unique and dynamic situation and as such my Department will remain agile, flexible and adaptive in the support we provide to businesses and our people throughout the recovery process.
