Answer
Over the past year, almost 60m LFTs have been delivered to Northern Ireland. This has made rapid testing available to all, delivered through a range of workplace, education and community settings.
At present, we are delivering in excess of 1m LFDs to different use cases across Northern Ireland.
My Department’s Test and Trace Transition Plan, published on 24 March 2022 sets out how we will continue to utilise LFDs to support rapid testing for COVID-19 to protect the most vulnerable and those at highest risk of serious illness should they contract COVID-19.
