Answer
I recognise the valuable contribution many local groups in East Antrim, indeed right across Northern Ireland, make to our communities. I plan to make an announcement shortly on the funding of all ESF groups for the remainder of this financial year.
Details of current ESF supported projects, for whom EU funding will cease on 31 March 2023, can be accessed on a constituency-by-constituency basis on-line as follows: 65 European Social Fund Call 3 Projects by constituency and council area | Department for the Economy (economy-ni.gov.uk)
ERDF funding will cease on 31 December 2023. East Antrim based organisations currently in receipt of ERDF funding through Invest NI are as follows: Advanced Sensors Limited & Teva NI Limited.
The Finance Minister continues to take responsibility on behalf of the NI Executive for replacement of all EU funding. I continue to strongly advocate for funding to be directed to key priority areas which includes activity currently funded through the European Social & Regional Development Funds.
