Answer

From 5 July live music has been permitted at licensed and unlicensed hospitality premises that sell or provide food and/or drink for consumption on the premises. This should be at ambient level only to allow conversation at normal levels and with suitable mitigations in place, such as screens.

Music is also permitted at outdoor events with no restriction on volume.

The Executive is committed to continuing to work in partnership with all sectors to ensure the approach to relaxations is focused on building resilience and reducing the need for further restrictions in the future.
